Fujairah, was created with the formation of the United Arab Emirates in 1971. Fujairah, the, overlooking the expansive waters of the Gulf of Oman, is the epicenter of all east coast exploration excursions. Fujairah around 2 hours from Dubai, with the dramatic Hajar Mountains as a backdrop, is situated on the east coast serving the waves of the Indian Ocean.
